Letter to students about work during closure.

I’ve been thinking about you, and I miss seeing your smiling face. It truly made my day.  I hope you and your family are well. I have been in touch with many of you, but know that I am here for you. Feel free to email me if you need anything, school-related or not.

Packets are to be used in place of online activities if you don’t have internet access. Packet 3 is designed for you to do three stories per week.

Here are links to two of the three packets we have distributed:

If you need another copy of the third one, email me and I will arrange to get it to you. However, if you are able, please continue to complete your work online instead. You DON’T have to do both. That’s way too much work! If you choose the packet, you can drop it in the drop box on the bench by the front door of the school. Or, you can take photos of your completed story activities and attach them to an email to me if you are able to do that on your phone.

ALWAYS START WITH CANVAS. Work for each week will be listed there and linked for you to have easy access. I will also post important announcements and instructions there and will send updates to your school email. As you may know, you will have a choice of how you want to handle the credit for each of your classes. Briefly, they are:

  1. Pass with credit, no change in gpa.
  2. Pass with score, grade counts in gpa.
  3. Withdraw with no credit.

Knowing that, I would encourage you to maximize your grade to an A and let that boost your gpa. Why not? Any assignments you do will only help your grade go up. Your grade cannot go down.

Don’t just assume there will be only Sr. Wooly and Garbanzo. There will be a variety of activities (two to three per week) and I’m changing things up for interest.

You can contact me via email at any time! I have my school email go directly to my phone and I will respond promptly. My email address is: Take care of yourself! ¡Te extraño (I miss you)!
