Dear Wildcats,
Due the forecast of storms, ERHS graduation will be held in the gymnasium at 6:00pm. Each senior received 7 rain tickets today at practice. Doors will open at 5:00 pm for ticketed guests. The ceremony will be live streamed on the RCSS website. There will be a live stream set up in the cafeteria for guests without tickets who wish to come to campus. This is the best decision we can make based off the radar to ensure everyone's safety. We promise this will still be an amazing night of celebration for the Class of 2025!
Respectfully,
Susan Chappell

ABOUT NC COLLEGE CONNECT
NC College Connect is a groundbreaking initiative offering direct college admission to eligible high school seniors across the state for the 2025–2026 school year! Open to public high school seniors with a weighted GPA of 2.8 or higher who meet course requirements, students will be matched with colleges where they already qualify — no traditional application needed.
The program now includes more UNC System schools, NC Independent Colleges and Universities and NC Community Colleges. Students are directly admitted and can accept offers by completing a short form on CFNC.org.

At our 2024-2025 Employee Recognition Program on May 19, we awarded a Distinguished Educator and an Outstanding Employee from each of our 31 schools. Also recognized were employees from across our school district who received “Special Honors” awards. See the complete list of award recipients: https://5il.co/3gp7r

The “Pride in the Randolph County School System (RCSS)” program honors employees who consistently demonstrate pride in the school system and exemplify strong character and commitment in their everyday work. While the program primarily highlights smaller, often unnoticed acts of dedication, it also recognizes exceptional efforts tied to larger events when appropriate.
Employees chosen for this recognition are awarded a “Pride in the Randolph County School System” lapel pin. Recipients are selected by members of the RCSS Leadership Team, school principals, or Board of Education members.
The following pages list the “Pride in RCSS” pin recipients from May 1, 2024, through April 30, 2025. We extend our sincere thanks to these outstanding employees for their dedication to the Randolph County School System.

RCSS is experiencing a system-wide internet outage. This impacts our phone systems as well. Our district staff is working to resolve this issue. Thank you for your patience.
