2025 Graduation Dates

Attention Seniors - Beginning September 30th use the College Connect simplified process to apply to multiple NC colleges at one time!

CFNC's College Application Week will be October 21-27. Many colleges and universities in North Carolina let high school seniors apply for FREE if they use the College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) website. This helps students save money and get support during the college application process.

Today was the first day of the 2024-2025 school for the Randolph County School System. It was a great day!

Attention all RCSS-certified staff, mark your calendar!

The “Pride in the Randolph County School System (RCSS)” program recognizes employees who display “pride in the school system” and “high character/high commitment” through their daily efforts. The primary focus is on smaller events associated with employees’ actions not as likely to attract much public attention. Nonetheless, actions by employees in relation to large events can be recognized as well.
Individuals selected for this recognition receive a “Pride in the Randolph County School System” lapel pin. Recipients of the pins are determined by the members of the RCSS Leadership Team, school principals, or Board of Education members.
Listed on the following pages are the “Pride in RCSS” pin recipients from May 1, 2023 to April 30, 2024. Thank you to these employees for their commitment to the Randolph County School System!

High schools are on the move! District support personnel and Eastern Randolph High School faculty members attended the Making Schools Work (MSW) Conference in Nashville July 9-12. The conference, organized by the Southern Regional Education Board, is one of the most comprehensive school improvement events in the US with an emphasis on K-12 teaching practices in core academics, career technical education, counseling, and leadership. Representatives participated in sessions and made implementation plans for the 24-25 school year.
